Ko Wai Mātou?
Manaia Go is a New Zealand-based live production and broadcast company delivering professional multi-camera coverage, live streaming, and OB solutions for sports, cultural events, conferences, and community organisations.
We specialise in reliable, broadcast-grade productions — whether on-site, remote (REMI), or hybrid — using industry-standard cameras, audio, networking, and streaming infrastructure. From local kaupapa Māori events to large-scale sporting fixtures and Pacific regional broadcasts, our focus is always the same: clarity, reliability, and respect for the story being told.
Our team brings together deep technical expertise and real-world broadcast experience, having delivered productions across Aotearoa, Fiji, Tonga, Niue, and the wider Pacific, working alongside local crews, broadcasters, and community stakeholders.
At Manaia Go, we believe live production is more than just technology — it’s about serving people, preserving moments, and making events accessible to audiences everywhere.
Our Story
Manaia Go was born from a simple idea: important stories deserve to be seen and heard clearly — no matter where they take place.
What began as a shared passion for live production and storytelling has grown into a trusted broadcast and streaming service supporting sports, cultural events, and communities across Aotearoa and the Pacific. Along the way, we recognised a gap — many regional and community events were under-represented, under-resourced, or inaccessible to wider audiences.By combining broadcast-grade technology with practical, real-world workflows, Manaia Go developed flexible production models that perform in challenging environments — from rural sports fields and marae to island nations and major sporting venues. Whether through on-site Outside Broadcast (OB) production or remote (REMI) workflows, our focus has always been on reliability, respect, and repeatability.
Manaia Go was founded when Norman and Mark met through a mutual connection, each searching for the missing piece to elevate their work. Mark was looking for an experienced audio engineer, while Norman was seeking a video engineer with broadcast vision. Recognising the strength in combining their skills, they formed Manaia Go to deliver end-to-end live production — audio, vision, streaming, and broadcast at a professional standard.
Together, Norman and Mark bring a combined 45 years of industry experience, spanning live sound, broadcast engineering, multi-camera production, and remote workflows. Their complementary expertise forms the backbone of Manaia Go’s technical capability and creative approach.
Our journey has since taken us beyond New Zealand, working alongside broadcasters, crews, and organisations in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Niue, and across the Pacific. We are committed not only to delivering productions, but also to sharing knowledge, training teams, and building long-term capability creating sustainable broadcast solutions rather than one-off events.
Every event we produce carries responsibility to the people involved, the culture represented, and the story being told. That responsibility guides how we work, how we partner, and how we continue to grow.
